Recertification Options

Wilderness First Aid Recertification Options

To recertify for Wilderness First Aid, do one of the following:

1. Attend another full WFA class
2. Attend a higher level course
3. Attend the second day of a WFA course - perform all skills during practical exercises and pass written exam*

Advanced Wilderness First Aid Recertification Options

To recertify for Advanced Wilderness First Aid, do one of the following:

1. Attend another full AWFA class
2. Attend a higher level course
3. Attend the second day of a WFA or AWFA course - perform all skills during the practical exercises and pass the written exam*

Wilderness First Responder Recertification Options

To recertify for Wilderness First Responder, do one of the following:

1. Attend another full WFR class
2. Attend a WEMT course
3. Attend the mock day of a WFR or WEMT class and perform all skills and pass the written exam*

Wilderness EMT Recertification Options

To recertify for Wilderness EMT, do one of the following:

1. Attend another full WEMT class
2. Attend a WEMT course
3. Attend the mock day of a WFR or WEMT class and perform all skills and pass the written exam*
